2. Deep tone hole impressions
3. Pad edges crumbling
4. Pads get sticky or stuck to tone holes

I clean and seal your register tube because regist

I clean and seal your register tube because register tubes are frequently a source of problems! Sometimes the inside is corroded with nickel oxide. Other times, like in this photo, layers of dust have built up and significantly reduced the effective diameter of the tube. This severely messes up the open Bb on the clarinet, causing flatness and stuffiness.
